Store Signs

I'm in love with the first one, which reminds me of Scrabble pieces. :)

Is It a Man? Is It a Woman?

These days are busy, so all I leave you with this time around is an image of a poster I'm personally quite intrigued by. Check out the blush on that guy's face and the faantastic 80s hair style. It almost makes me want to go and check out Phillip Kirkorov - the Russian King of Pop (or so the poster say), when he visits in May. ;)

EGGcelent Easter Market

Austrians love markets! And Easter is apparently another great reason to open small stalls around town with arts and crafts, sweets and typical Austrian foods in order to celebrate the season. I accidentally bumped into one of these markets on a lunch break from university the other day, and dragged Bjarni along for a taste of the cakes, the hot chocolate and the Schlagermusik today at the Freyung Ostermarkt.
Frohe Ostern!

Signs of Diversity

Excuse me for my obsession with cultural diversity, but I just can't help it, and Los Angeles is fantastic in that matter. Pictures from Venice Beach, Korea Town, Thai Town in Hollywood and San Gabriel.

Christmas Days in Sauðárkrókur (1)

We are back in Reykjavik after a wonderfully relaxed and snowy trip up north. Bjarni used to spend most summers as a child in Sauðárkrókur with his grand parents, and it has become my favorite destination in Iceland with stunning nature, lots of horses and the always loving grand parents Alda & Egill.

Signs & Store Fronts

I love some of the old signs and store fronts, which can be found all over the city. For the non-German speakers: check out the length of the word on picture 3. (Wohnungskomplettsanierung translates to something like complete housing renovation)
